FIRE PROTECTION CODE CONSULTANT. pLAN CHECKING CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION W,O,#: 18857-MJD On February 19,2008 a compaction inspection was performed of the gravel pad at this site in preparation for the construction involving foundation for the proposed residence, The excavation involved the placeme'nt of 3/4" minus crushed rock, The compacted surface of the crushed rock is adequate to support a conventional wood frame residence with a standard foundation per the 2005 State of Oregon One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code as adopted per the local jurisdiction, The compaction of the gravel surface is greater than 95% of a standard proctor, per ASTM D698-91, Thank you for this opportunity to be of service, The enclosed Building Analysis Report and Statement of Conditions and Limitations is a part of this report, If you have questions regarding this report, please contact me at 484-9080, Sincerely, Bradley R. Site Conditions (Soils, Geological) e, Plumbing (Fixtures, Piping) f. Heating(Fumace, Heat Pump, Air Conditioning, Fireplace, Stoves, Chimneys) g, Electrical (Service, Wiring, Outlets) h. X Other: Compaction Only The inspection is for the purpose of alerting the client to major deficiencies in the condition of the property described above and according to the conditions contained in the report and this -statement. The inspection and report are performed and prepared for the sole, confidentiaJ and exclusive use and possession of the CLIENT. No obligation or responsibility to other parties is assumed. This inspection is of the readily accessible areas of the building an~ is limited to visual observations of apparent conditions existing at the time of the inspection. Latent and concealed defects ~d deficiencies are excluded from the inspection; equipment, construction and systems will not be dismantled. ' Maintenance and other items may be discussed, but they. are not a part of our inspection. The report is not a compliance inspection or certification for past or present government .codes or regulations of any kind.. The \ inspection and report do not address and are not intended to address the possible presence of or danger from any potentially harmful substances and environmental hazards including but not)imited to radon gas, lead paint, asbestos, urea formaldehyde and toxic or flammable chemicals. Any references made. to these substance in our report is made for the sole purposes of alerting our client to the,possibility of their existence. We are making no positive determinations as to their actual presence, as we do not do laboratory resting; If CI,lENT wishes any further information or recommendations in regard to the'presence of these substances, we recommend contacting a specialized environmental contractor. The report describes the property condition 'and status on' the date of inspection. The purpose is to alert clients to-present defe'cts. Sub-surface' soil conditions, inaccessible areas and features, appli!IDces, security alarms, intercom systems, solar heating systems or panels, sprinkler systems, spas, pools, water softeners, ceT1tral vacuum _systems, and the. presence or absence of rodents, termites or other insects are specifically excluded .: from the scope of this report. While every reaSonable effort was made-to determine the property conditions, no guarantees are expressed or implied. No responsibility is assumed for any items outside the scope of this inspection, nor can ,we be held responsible for work performed by others. Liability for damage arising out of errors or omissions shall be limited to the cost oftbe scope of inspection. No representat.ions are made concerning the architectural or engineering conditions. Mortier Engineering, its employees and agents, assume no liability or responsibility for the cost of repairing or replacing any unreported defects or deficiencies, either current or' arising in the future, or for any property damages, consequential ,damage or bodily injury of any nature.
