Comments from Lane County Transportation Planning
The subject property is.inside the Urban Growth 80undary of the City of Springfield. It abuts La~rel Avenue, a county
road to the East; and Garden Avenue to the South, which is a Local Access Road in the Lane County Transportation
System, Plan. Laurel Rd is classified as an Urban Local. It is paved; 16 feet wide; and without curb, gutter or sidewalks.
The assessor's map sho~s the existing right.of.way for Laurel Ave as 45 feet .wide.'
The subject property is proposed for partition into 3 parcels and proposed for taking access' from Garden Ave. No
facility permit is required for the proposal to take access trom the LAR ; however, the proposal must meet the','
following requirements: ' . "

A triangular area at the corner of the intersection of Laurel Ave and Garden Avenue shall be maintained as Visual Clear
Zone as defined in LC15.010 (40). the triangular area sides "shall be at least 15 feet. No visual obstructions such as
