DATE: August 23'd, 2006 FROM: Jim Donovan, Urban Planner Matt Stouder, EIT ~ TO: SUBJECT: CRANE ANNEXATION LRP#2005-00039 , The applicant has submitted plans requesting annexation of map and tax lot 18020521 08700 (1.73 acres) into the City of Springfield for future deve10pnient of a 12-lot single family residential subdivision.-l have reviewed the proposed anneXation request and ' don't see any significant issues as public services are available to serve the subject property. A summary of the existing' facilities is provided below: Sanitarv Sewer An 8 inch sewer lateral line was provided to the applicant's property frontage with completion 6fCity Project P20347 last summer.. The existing 8 inch public sewer line is located within South 42nd Street and has available capacity to serve the proposed development. The applicant has indicated that the existing home on the property will remain. A condition of annexation will require this home to hook up to the available public system and abandon the existing septic system currently 'serving the property. ' , Stonn Sewer An 18 inch stonn sewer lateral was provided to the applicant's property frontage with completion of City Project P20347 last summer. The existing public storm sewer line is located within South 42nd Street and is 24 inches in diameter. There is available capacity, within the 24 inch stonn sewer for the proposed development. .
