I have been requested, by Doug Weber to provide'a brief statement on overall access for this subdivision, Both roads are urban major collectors, and based on our code, the spacing standards for driveways and intersections is 275 feet The proposed entrance for King Henry Court is 'about 150 feet This close distance is further aggravated by the signalized intersection ~nd we feel this proposed location is within the influence area of a properly functioning and safe intersection, . If the court and its 7 lots were shifted north as far as possible, it lOOKS liKe the spacing would be about 255 feet, which is only 20 short, - For the lots fronting Hayden Bridge Road, the first preference would be for ,them to be accessed from King Henry Court, If this can not worK for reasons other than The second (and last) option would be for us to 'allow a shared access at the very west side of the property, ,This would be about 255 feet from the center of 19th Street Agaln, we could recommend to the county engineer that this is "close enough" and he would also have to wave having an access on both 'streets, Procedurally, I do not Know ,if we would need to go through a formal variance process as outlined in Lane Code 15,.140, This would be for access spacing LC 15,138(1), and corner lots having two accesses LC 15.137(2)(c), BOTH of these items were outlined in Lane CountY comments duriri'g the annexation of this property, ' " , .
