Arrived on-site to perform arbitrary inspection of the 3/4" A325 high strength bolts at beam to beam and
beam to column connections. Only approximately 35% of the connections are accessible. Each bolt at
accessible connections were inspected visually to ensure all plys within the faying surface were in full
contact A 14" crescent wrench was used to check bolts for snu9-tight condition. Note: steel surfaces
are not in full contact on lateral brace connection at grid lines B/4. Requires engineer approval for
as-built condition.
To the best .of our knowledge, the work checked is in conformance with Metallic Building drawings,
transmittal from engineer dated 12-04-08 and AISC manual, except if noted above.
