RESOLUTION NO: 96-5?
A Resolution Accepting Jurisdiction of a portion of Jasper Road
from the West line of South 42nd Street thence West 2700 Feet more or less,
WHEREAS, subsequent to a public hearing on the matter hereinafter mentioned after
proper notice as provided by law, an offer was made by Lane County to the City of Springfield that
Lane County relinquish and surrender jurisdiction over the following portion of a County Road
located within the corporate limits of the City of Springfield as follows, to-wit
Jasper Road from the West right-of-way line of South 42nd Street westerly 2700 feet more
or less to the to the connection with Jasper Road as su!rendered to the City of Springfield
by Lane County Commissioners Order Number 88-2-24.-17,
WHEREAS, said offer was made by order of the Board of County Commissioners of Lane County
Order Number 96-9-18-11 dated September 18th, 1996, now therefore '
BE IT RESOLVED THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Springfield does hereby accept and assume jurisdiction over the following
portion of a County Road located within the corporate limits of the City of Springfield as
follows:
Jasper Road from the West right-of-way line of South 42nd Street westerly 2700 feet more
or less to the to the connection with Jasper Road as surrendered to the City of Springfield'
by Lane County Commissioners Order Number 88-2-24-17,
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield, Oregon, this 16th day of December,
1996.

DISCLAIMER OF INTEREST
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the City of Springfield, a municipal corporation of Lane
County, State of Oregon, does hereby release, relinquish and disclaim any interest which the City of
Springfield acquired in the parcel of land described below. The City of Springfield acquired interest by virtue
of a sanitary sewer I storm drainage easement set forth in an instrument recorded February 4, 1976 on Reel
780R, Instrument No. 7605361, Lane County Oregon Deed Records in Lane County, Oregon, said
instrument being an easement from Walt A. Drews Jr. to the City of Springfield and being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 4, Block 1, Ridge View Estates as platted and recorded in
Lane County Oregon Plat Records, Book 69, Page 4, in Lane County, Oregon; thence South
0000'50" West 20,72 feet; thence North 89059'10" West 5.90 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence South 39036'40" West 159,82 feet; thence South 44011'05" West 53,36 feet;
thence South 89056'39" West 9,86 feet to a point on the East line of Lot 3, Block 4, Ridge View
Estates, said point being South 0003'21" East 11.43 feet from the Northeast corner of said lot;
thence along the said East line North 0003'21" West 1 0,00 feet; thence leaving said East line North
89056'39" East 5.64 feet; thence North 44011'05" East 48.74 feet; thence North 39036'40" East
151,15 feet; thence South 89059'10" East 12,98 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
