Authorizing the City Manager to Amend the
County/City Road Partnership Agreement
WHEREAS, the City and Lane County are parties to an intergovernmental agreement between
the County and the City providing for the transfer of certain moneys of the County Road Fund to
the city, to be expended for purposes allowed by Oregon Law for road funds (the "Partnership
Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted a draft of an amendment to the Partnership
Agreement to the council for its review and approval in the form of a draft agreement (the "Draft
Amendment"); and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the Draft Amendment and determined that it is in the
interest of the City to enter into the agreement;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of
Springfield approves the Partnership Agreement and authorizes and directs the City Manager to
execute an agreement substantially in the form of the Draft Amendment with such modifications
and revisions as the City Manager shall determine are in the best interest of the City, such
determination to be evidenced by his execution of the Amendment to the Partnership Agreement.
