RESOLUTION NO: 98-01
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING JURISDICTION OF A PORTION OF GAME FARM ROAD FROM THE EAST
LINE OF GATEWAY STREET TO THE NORTH LINE OF BEL TLlNE ROAD AND A PORTION OF DEADMOND
FERRY ROAD FROM GAME FARM ROAD EASTERLY 1800 FEET TO SPRINGFIELD CITY LIMITS
WHEREAS, subsequent to a public hearing on the matter hereinafter mentioned after proper notice as
provided by law, an offer was made by Lane County to the City of Springfield that Lane County relinquish and
surrender jurisdiction over the following portions of County Roads located within the corporate limits of the City
of Springfield as follows, to-wit:
That portion of County Road Number 209, Game Farm Road, beginning at the East line of Gateway
Street, Easterly and Southerly 2800 feet to the North right-of-way line of Beltline Road and the portion
of County Road Number 90, Deadmond Ferry Road, from its pOint of beginning at Game Farm Road
Easterly 1800 feet to the Springfield City Limits.
WHEREAS, said offer was made by order of the Board of County Commissioners of Lane County Order
Number 97-9-24-10 dated October 29th, 1997, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Springfield does hereby accept and assume jurisdiction over the following portions of
County Roads located within the corporate limits of the City of Springfield as follows:
That portion of County Road Number 209, Game Farm Road, beginning at the East line of Gateway
Street, Easterly and Southerly 2?OQJeet to the North right~o.f:way line of Beltline Road and the portion
of County Road Number 90, Deadmond Ferry Road, from its point of beginning at Game Farm Road
Easterly 1800 feet to the Springfield City Limits.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield, Oregon, this 20th day of January, 1998.
