NATURE OF APPLICATION:
Pass an ordinance adding Article 17 Drinking Water Protection (DWP) Overlay District to the Springfield
Development Code setting forth procedures and standards for the use of hazardous materials within time of
travel zones; revising the Springfield Development Code by amending Article 2, 3, 14, 15 and Appendix I;
and rezoning properties within the zero to twenty year time of travel iones.
DECISION:
The Springfield City Council held a public hearing on March 6, April 3, and May 1,2000. On May 15,
2000, the Springfield City Council voted 6 to 0 io adopt Ordinance 5962, The action taken by the
Springfield City Council is a final action "
APPEAL:
All parties are advised that a notice of intent to appeal conforming to the requirements ofORS, 197,83 shall
be filed on or before the 21st day after the effective date of the Springfield City Council decision, All
parties are further advised to consult an attorney or land use consultant regarding their appeal.
