NATURE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Drinking Water Protection (DWP) Addendum'(2002) iS"a policy document that establishes
a surface water management area for the Willamette Wellfields and Water intakes from the
Middle Fork Willamette River. The management area is' outside of Springfield's Urban Growth
Boundary (UGB),

Notice is hereby given that:
On Tuesday, the 2nd of July, 2002, the Planning Commission, at the, hour of 7:00 p,m:, in the
Springfield City Council Meeting Room, Fifth and "A" Streets, Springfield, Oregon, will hear any
and all persons for or against the proposed addendum,,' ' '
On, Tuesday, the 16th of September, 2002, the City Council will conduct a public hearing on
the proposed action at the hour of 7:00 p.m" in the same location as listed above,
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All documents and evidence are available for a free inspection and copies are available at the
Development Services Department, 225 Fifth Street, Springfield, Oregon 97477,
A copy of the staff report,for this request will be available for a free inspection and copies will
