Hi Greg, I've put this topic on the LCPC Future Agenda for May 6th as a joint mtg, for both the 5:30 worksession
and the Hearing at 7:00, so let me know if it needs to say different times, Location is in Springfield, i assume it'll
be the meeting room near the library, but i also assume your staff will be providing such details when the time
comes, mmmmmmm, Food is good, Homer says, so tha~ks for that.

Stephanie,
Why don't we call it: Amendments to the Public Facilities and Services Plan and Chapter III of the Metro Plan to
adopt the Springfield Sanitary Sewer Master Plan and Project List.

Hi Greg. The LCPC does participate in Metro Plan PAPA's with both cities, The LCPC regular meeting days are
first and third Tuesdays, 5:30pm work session and 7:00pm for hearings. May 6th is open ( i could schedule this
on the future agenda now for that date), and a staff report would be due to me by April 23rd for that date, For a
Joint Metro project, another night could be arranged, the April 29th 1-5 bridge hearing is an example, it's on a 5th
tuesday,
The Board is meeting every week in June, Wednesdays at 1 :30 pm is the regular time for hearings, but of course
a Joint EO hearing could be scheduled at your regular time, or at a special time if need be, The first reading has
to be 14 days prior to the public hearing, and the packet is due three weeks prior to that. Ordinance review is
rolled into the three week packet lead time. the Board schedules work session items on Tuesdays, so if you
wanted to have a presentation to the Board under that scenario, still need a three weeK lead for the packet, and
the time certain during the day is set one week prior on Wed, at agenda setting. July has a single down week, the
15th and 16th, '
. send me a title, and i'll get it scheduled,
Steph

Stephanie (and Kurt),
Our PW Department has nearly finished master plans for storm and sanitary sewer for the entire city and ut area,
These documents need to be adopted as amendments to the PFSP and Metro Plan Chapter III text. As with
most things these days a fast-track is necessary in order to meet certain obligations, Several of us met today to
discuss potential time lines and identify who must participate in the PAPA process. Lane County EO's must
because the limits of the amendments include the ut area. I don't think Eugene needs to participate but I'm
sending this to Eugene as well in the event that they have a different conclusion.
We would like the initial hearing (planning commissions) to occur sometime in May, the earlier the better. Is it still
the position of Lane County that the Lane County PC does not participate in Metro Plan issues? If so, then it's
just our PC (and possibly Eugene's); if not, then I need to know if your PC (and Eugene's) can meet in early May
and how much lead time you need for the staff report. The same questions go for the Board: are they available
in June and how much lead time do they require for ordinance review, first reading,' etc. The PW folks need to
have these changes completed and effective by August 1 sr Sorry for the short notice, but we're all riding that
particular bus.
