Subject: Vacation Request
This is to request the vacation of a portion of a railroad easement in the Wildish Industrial
Tracts located in the Glenwood district of Springfield, Oregon. (See enclosed
documents.)
The purpose of this vacation is to accommodate the construction of a new industrial
facility being built in th!l Wildish Industrial Park (i.e., United States Bakery, known
locally as Williams Bakery). This use ofihe property eliminates the need for future
railroad access.
The dedication of the railroad easement was part of the Wildish Industrial Tracts which
were subdivided and platted by Wildish Industrial Development Corporation on May 4,
1969. The corporation remains the sole owner of all real property on both sides of the
entire length of the entire proposed vacation.
