Re: DRC2007-00036, Wynant's Family Heath Foods
Dear Liz:
This letter is in response to the "Type I Tentative Minimum Development
Standards, Staff Report & Decision" dated June 29, 200hegarding the
. proposed development for Wynant's Family Heath Foods at 722 South A St,
what follows is an accounting of how we propose to meetthe conditions set
forth in the decision.
Condition 1: In accordance with this condition, we have added to the
landscape plan two additional trees, one on each street as required. This
. : revision has been noted on the site plan and landscape plan, see Sheet C 1.1.
Condition 2: In accordance with this condition, we have revised the landscape
plan' and planting guide as required, such that 22 of the 1 to 3 gallon plants
have been replaced with 22 of the 5 gallon plants. See Sheet C 1.1.
Condition 3: We have modified the floor plan and elevations so as to meet the
requirements in the condition, See Sheets A2.1 and A3 .1.
Condition 4: Currently in the design, new mechanical devices are to be
screened, The back flow prevention device as noted has sufficient plant
material screening in order to reduce visual impact, especially so in light of the "
revised plant materials.
Condition 5: We have revised the current landcape plan to indicated that the
planter areas are to be irrigated. The irrigation design shall be a designlbuild
by the irrigation system installer and will be a deferred submittal,
Condition 6: We have modified the site plans and detail sheets (Sheets CLl &
C2.I) to account for a trash enclosure that better meets the standards
expressed in this condition, As it is, our proposed trash enclosure provides
enough room for two 2-yard capacity dumpsters, one for trash and the other
for reCycling,
