GENERAL NOTES:
1. Prior 'to anY ground disturbance on the site one inspection with LDAP stpff is required. Issuance of this
plan does not relieve the permit holder and or the contractor from 011 othe~ permitting requirements.
Prior to beginning construction activities, all other necessary approvals shall ~e obtained.

2. The erosion and sediment control measures shown on this Erosion Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) ore the
minimum requirements for anticipated site conditions. During the constructio~ period, these measures sholl
be upgraded as needed for unexpected storm events and to ensure that se<,Hment and sediment -laden
water does not leave the site.
3. The implementation of the ESCP and the construction, maintenance, repl~cement, .andupgrading of the
erosion and sediment control measures is the responsibiHty of the permit hqlder and or the contractor
until all construction is completed and accepted and vegetation / tandscapin~ is established.

4. The boundaries of the clearing Hmits shown on this plan shall be cleari~ flagged in the field by the
engineer prior to construction. During the construction period. no disturbon<:je beyond the flagged clearing
limits sholl be permitted. The flagging sholl be maintained by the applicant J contractor for the duration
of construction.

5. The erosion and sediment control measures on active sites sholl be insBected and maintained at least
once every seven (7) calendar days and within the 24 hours after any storti1 event of greater than 0.5
inches of rain per 24-hour period. Measures shall be inspected by contractor after each rainfall and at
least daify during prolonged rainfall. Any required repairs oradjustmentsshaU be made immediately.

6. All erosion and sediment control measures shaJl be protected from dam~ge at aU times. Control
measures shall remain in place until permanent re-vegetation has been stab~lized.Any measure that is
damaged or destroyed sholl be repaired or replaced immediately. !

7. Any areas of exposed soils, including roadway embankment, that will notl be disturbed for two days during
the wet season (October 1 to April 30) or seven days during the dry seasor~ (May 1 to September 30)
shall be immediately stabilized with on approved ECS method (seeding & m~lching with straw, bark,
compost, or plastic covering, etc.)
8. Street sweeping shall be performed as needed or when directed by the ~ity inspector to insure public
right-of-ways ore kept dean and free of debris.
9~ When trucking saturated soils from the site, either water-tight trucks sh all be used or loads sholl be
drained on site until dripping has been reduced to no more than one gallonl per hour. Sediment laden
water will not be allowed to enter the stormwater system. '
10. Extracted ground water from excavated trenches shall dispose of in a s~~itable manner without
damage to adjacent property. Dewatering systems shall be designed and operated so os to prevent
removal of the natural soils and so that the groundwater level outside the ~xcavation is not reduced
to the extent that would damage or endanger adjacent structures or property. Approval of the system
does not guarantee' that it will meet the outcomes or be acceptable for us~ in all situations.
Modifications to the system wiU be required if the compliance con not to met. At no time will sediment
laden water be allowed to leave the construction site. '
11. A supply of materials necessary to meet compliance and implement the 'LDAP or other best
management erosion practices under aU weather conditions shot! be maintained at all times on the
'construction site~ :

12. No hazardous substances. such as paints. thinners. fuels and other cherPicals shall be released
onto the site, adjacent properties, or into water features, the City's storm wbter system, or related
natural resources. .
13. The ESC facilities shall be inspected by the contractor and maintained t~ ensure continued proper
functioning. Written records shall be kept of weekly reviews of the ESC faci'ities during the wet
season (October 1 to April 30) and of monthly reviews during the dry seasqn (May 1 to September 30).
14. Approval of this Erosion Sediment. Contro! Plan (ESCP) does not constitu\:e on approva! of permanent
rood or drainage design systems (e.g. size and location of roods. pipes. chqnnels. retention facilities.
utilities. etc.). !
15. The er-osion, and sediment c-ontrol measures shown on this Erosion Sediment Control Plan (ESCP)
must be constructed in conjunction with aU clearing and grading activities in such 0 manner os to
insure that sediment and sediment laden water does not enter the stormwatrr system, roadways, or
violate applicable water standards.
16. All work performed by utility companies for this project, including placetnent of appropriate erosion
and sediment control measures, finished grading, seeding, mulching and deaM up is governed by the
conditions and requirements of this erosion control permit. The assurance thpt these requirements are
met will be the responsible of the permit holder. :
