number of bags at a thickness not less than the labeled minimum thickness. Installation of the required number of bags may yield more than the specified minimum thickness.

Loosefill insulations vary in thermal performance due to factors such as aging, mean temperature. settlement. convection, moisture absorption and installation variation.
Convection in glass looseflll insulation installed in open attics can reduce its thermal performance in extreme winter temperatures during the heating season.
Blanket Insulation
Blanket and batt fiber glass insulation. when installed according to the manufacturers recommendations, will provide the stated R-Value.
