Springfield Fire Marshals Office has the following comments 'on this minor site plan
modification for Oregon Industrial Lumber at 3950 Marcola Road:

The proposed 5,040 square foot canopy has already been through the building plans review
process through the fire marshals office. Deputy Fire Marshal Melissa Fechtel completed the
plans review forfire and life safety on January 18, 2006 (Job #COM2005-01734).
. The parking lot turnaround does not meet fire department specifications per 2004 Springfield
Fire Code Appendix D, Figure D1 03.1. The access along the parking lot spaces to and
including the turnaround shall support an 80,000 lb. imposed load per 2004 Springfield Fire
Code 503.2.3 and SFC Appendix D 102.1.
