PUBLIC NOTICE
NATURE OF THE APPLICATION AND PROPOSED USE
Applications have been submil\ed to the Development Services Department appealing the Planning
Commission's decision on December 20,2007 to approve a Master Plan application (LRP 2007-00028)
to guide construction of a 100,3 acre residential and commercial development (Marcola Meadows),
APPELLANTS.
In addition to the property owner, the following persons are appealing the application cited above: Donna
Lentz; Philip Newman; Dennis Hunt; Clara Shevchinski; Wesley 0, Swanger; and Nick Shevchynski. ,
SUBJECT PROPERTY LOCATION
The property is located at the northwest corner of Marcola Road and 28'"/31'" Streets (Assessor's Map#
17-02-30-00, Tax Lot 01800 and 17-03-25-11, Tax Lot 02300,
DATE, TIME, PLACE AND LOCATION OF THE HEARING
The Springfield City Council will hold a public hearing on January 28, 2008, at 7:00 p,m, in the Springfield
City Council Chambers, 225 Fifth Street, Springfield, Oregon 97477,
APPLICABLE CRITERIA OF APPROVAL
The criteria for Master Plan approval can' be found in the Springfield Development Code, Section 5,13-
125,
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The City Council will make a decision on whether to allow additional information or on the basis of the
, record as specified in SDC Section 5,3-1200. ~
The application, all documents and evidence relied upon by the applicant and the applicable criteria are
available for a free inspection and copies will be available for a fee at the Development Services
Department, 225 Fifth Street, $pringfield, Oregon,
A copy of the staff report for this request will be available for a free inspection and copies will be available
for a fee on Januarv 18. 2008 at 8:00 a,m, at the Development Services Department (The Register Guard
notice stated the staff report would be available on January 21'", which is a holiday and the Development
Services Department will be closed that day),
