Now therefor~, ifthe said Principal and the said Surety shall well and truly pay to the Obligee any loss it may sustain on account ofthe violation on the part of the Principal then this obligation shall be null and void; otherWise to remain in full force and effect. This bond may be cancelled by the Principal or Surety upon ten (10) days written notice to Obligee on or prior to October 31, 2008 and may be extended upon approval ofthe City beyond October 31, 2008. The provision for cancellation, however, shall not operate to relieve, release or discharge the surety from any liability already accrued or which shall accrue before the cancellation date of this bond.
