C. Struaturallumber sizes noted In these plans have been deSigned usmg
WWPA grading rules II these members bear the stomp of a different

0604 STUDS:
A Studs shall be Douglas l1r /Larch, Grade #2 at all load bearing walls
With size and spaolOg as shown on plans
B. Utility grode lumber may be used for non-bearing studs If they conform
to Seo1lon 2308,9 I.
C. Brldgmg, top and sill plates, arlpple walls and stud notching and
borlOg sholl be per Seotlon 23089 and these plans,
0605 JOISTS:
A, Floor and oelllng Joists shall be Douglas fir/Larch, Grade #2
B. All rim Joists and end joists sholl be caulked In plaoe during
framing
C, Double all end joists and all joists under parallel bearing
partitIons.
D. Floor and oelllng joists sholl be blooked or bridged when required
by Section 2308.85
E Minimum bearing shall be 1-1/2 Inches or as noted
F Notohlng and boring of JOISts sholl not exceed that allowed by

0609 SOLE PLATES: Sole plates In contact With concrete shall be
