RESOLUTION 05 - 13
A RESOLUTION FIXING FEES FOR THE ISSUANCE
OF A SIDEWALK CAFE PERMIT AND ESTABLISHING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Council, on March 21,2005, passed an ordinance amending the
Springfield Municipal Code, as amended, by adding thereto Sections 7.900 through 7.908,
establishing a Sidewalk Cafe Permit; and
WHEREAS, Springfield Municipal Code, Section 7.904, provides that the Council shall
fix, by resolution, the fee for such permit; and
WHEREAS, the ordinance establishing a Sidewalk Cafe Permit will, by its terms,
become effective on Apri120, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted a report showing that the estimated cost of
issuing a Sidewalk Cafe Permit is approximately $25; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the report of the City Manager and is fully
informed as to the costs associated with administering the fee;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council hereby fmds and
determines that the reasonable cost of administering the Sidewalk Cafe Permit is $25, and fixes
the fee for such permit at $25; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall take effect upon adoption by
the Council and approval by the Mayor.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield, Oregon, by a vote of -L
for and ~ against, this 21st day of March ,2005. (1 abstention - Lundberg)
