RESOLUTION NO 05-04
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE WILLAMALANE PARK AND RECREATION
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN RECOVERY ACTION PLAN SUPPLEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Springfield adopted the Willamalane Park and Recreation
Comprehensive Plan on November 15, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City of Springfield desires to accomplish the purposes outlined in the
Recovery Action Plan, a copy of which will be on file in the City Manager's office and
which is incorporated herein by reference.
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Common Council of the City of Springfield adopts the Wi llama lane Park and
Recreation District's Recovery Action Plan, which will effectively guide the District's
future resource allocation for rehabilitation of park and recreation facilities; and
authorizes the District to forward this plan to the National Park Service, U.S.
Department of the Interior, in fulfillment of the requirements of the Urban Park and
Recreation Recovery Program. o..!'
ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Springfield this ~~~ of January,
2005, by a vote of ~for and ~against. (2 absent - Pishioneri & Lundberg)
