Development Proposal The development is a building containing 6 attached residential units. The units are attached at the sidewalls and are not stacked units. The development contains ground-floor garages with upper-story living spaces and shared on-site parking. Trip Generation The weekday AM peak hour, weekday PM peak hour, and weekday daily trips are estimated using the ITE Trip Generation Manual 11 th edition. The ITE land use code most closely matched the proposed development is described in the following. Table 1 illustrates the trip generation estimate. x 215- Single Family Attached: This land use is described as single-family housing that shares a wall with an adjoining unit, typically joined side-by-side. TABLE 1: TRIP GENERATION Land Use Size (units) Rate Trips AM Peak Hour 60.483 PM Peak Hour 60.573 Daily 67.2043 TIA Applicability As per SDC 4.2.105 (1) and (2), a Traffic Impact Analysis is required if the proposed development generates 100 or more vehicle trips during the weekday AM or PM peak hour or 1,000 or more weekday daily trips. As demonstrated above, the development does not reach the level of trips required to trigger a Traffic Impact Analysis.
