ISSUE STATEMENT: The Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) has one vacant position due to an existing vacancy. One application was received for the one vacant position. ATTACHMENTS: 1: Ralke, Deven - Application 2: BPAC Interview Questions DISCUSSION/ FINANCIAL IMPACT: The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), which typically consists of nine voting members, is seeking a new member for one vacant seat. The BPAC advises City Council and city staff on pedestrian and bicycle plans. The committee was established to provide input on bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, policies. programs, education, and enforcement. The committee has one multi year-long vacancy. Remaining committee members Keith Dickey (chair), Patty Brisco, and Kevin Campbell terms expire Dec. 31, 2025. Committee members Elena Coleman (vice- chair), Douglas Bovee, Rachel Glazer, and Paul Meltzer were all appointed this year with terms ending Dec. 31, 2026. The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee asks that the Council interview the one applicant and appoint a new member to the BPAC for a term ending May 31, 2027.
