LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD APPLICANT APPOINTMENT
ACTION
REQUESTED:
Appoint Ofelia Guzman to a full four-year term, ending December 31, 2027
ISSUE
STATEMENT:
Due to the resignation of Board member Susan Bogenschild in March of 2024, the
Library Advisory Board has one open position starting in April of 2024.
One application was received before the deadline of Feb 26, 2024
The applicant, Ofelia Guzman was interviewed at the Council Work Session on on
March 11 and Council gave direction to appoint Ms. Guzman to a four-year term
ending December 31, 2027.

FINANCIAL
IMPACT:
The appointment of Ofelia Guzman will bring the Library Advisory Board to full
capacity.
The Library Advisory Board requests that the Council formally ratify the
appointment listed above during the April 1, 2024, regular meeting.
