ITEM TITLE: SPRINGFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD INTERVIEWS
ACTION
REQUESTED:
Interview one applicant for the Springfield Library Advisory Board for the one
vacant position and decide to appoint or not appoint.
ISSUE
STATEMENT:
The Springfield Library Advisory Board has one vacant position as of March 31,
2024, due to the resignation of Susan Bogenschild.
One application was received for the open position.

DISCUSSION/
FINANCIAL
IMPACT:
The Library Advisory Board received one application for one partial position due to
the resignation, effective on March 31, 2024, of Susan Bogenschild, who is moving
out of the area The Board requests that the Council interview the one applicant who
applied during the application period ending February 2, 2024, and appoint The
applicant to a partial term ending 12/31/2026.
