I have spoken with the City of Springfield Fire Department inregard to a test burn of the house at 239 N. 42nd Street. OnFriday, May 26th they ca}led to inform me that they did not wishto burn the house.
The building will be boarded up by June L0th. I am proceeding toget three (3) qualified bids for demolishing the premises. Thebids have to be approved by Federal Asset Disposition Association(F.A.D.A. ) and Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation(F.S.t,I.c.) in order to proceed with demolition.
