West: At your request, the Building Division of the City of Springfield made a Housing Inspection on Novernber 9 , 7982 at the following locations. The following items were found in need of repair or replacement to conform to the Housing Code as adopted by the City of Springfield. All applicable pernits must be obtained and all itens shall be installed in accor- dance with applicable Codes and inspected before a Certificate of Compliance will be issued. A11 splices must be in approved junction boxes with lids. 5) Install caps on all unused gas lines. 532 North 58th Street 1)Install extension sleeve on electrical receptacles in paneled wal1s in room north of the kitchen (garage converted to fanily room). The chimney in the roon north of the kitchen is not approved for use. It must be repaired (approved liner installed) re- moved or sealed 2) 3) The rafters for the carport are over span; 2" x 6tt - 24tt o,c, and spliced in the niddle. The roof is leaking badly. Screen shalL be corro- sion resistant wire mesh not less than L/4tt nor nore than L/Z't in any dinension. 2) Replace the electrical switch to the dining roon light. 3) Install extension sleeves on electrical receptacJ.es in paneled walls. 4) The fire brick must be repaired or repLaced in the fireplace. 5) Repair tiLe and wal1 around bath tub and toil.et. 6) Replace toilet seat. 7) Replace glass in front bedroom window 8) Repair patio door latch. 9) Install approved pressure temperature relief valve on water heater. 10) Repair copper water line to water heater, renove garden hose section.
