A pool has recently been placed on the side portion of your property which is not enclosed by a fence or permanent structure. RLQUIRED CORRECTION: Any body of water which is more than 18 inches in depth is considered a dangerous body of water and must be com- pletely surrounded by a fence or permanent structure such as a house or accessory building. If you wish to enclose the pool by constructing a fence, I have enclosed Section 14.06 of the Springfield Zoning Code for fencing requirements in residential areas. A building pernit is required to be obtained prior to construction and may be obtained at the Springfield Public Works Department, 225 North Sth Street.
