We will ensure that all materials used will mirror the historical nature of the property. Additionally: • The ADU will meet setbacks, height, lot/parcel coverage, and building code standards. • The ADU will not exceed 800 sq. ft. or the square footage of the primary dwelling • The ADU will include a hard surface walkway a minimum of 3 ft. wide from the primary entrance of the ADU to the street or walkway serving the primary dwelling. • The ADU will have its own address. • The ADU will screen outdoor storage and garbage areas from view from nearby properties with a minimum 42-in. tall sight-obscuring fence • The ADU within or attached to the primary dwelling will match the design of the primary dwelling • The ADU's exterior alterations, such as those necessary to meet building codes, will meet design standards.
