MINUTES OF THE WORK SESSION MEETING OF
THE SPRINGFIELD PLANNING COMMISSION HELD
TUESDAY, March 5, 2019
The City of Springfield Planning Commission met in a work session in the Jesse Maine Meeting Room, 225 Fifth
Street, Springfield, Oregon, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., with Commissioner Koivula presiding.
ATTENDANCE
Present were Vice Chair Koivula, Commissioners Vohs, Landen, Gill and McGinley. Also present were: Planning
supervisor Jim Donovan, Assistant City Attorney Kristina Kraaz and Management Specialist Brenda Jones.
ABSENT
• Commissioner Sherwood- Excused
• Commissioner Bergen- Excused
WORK SESSION
1. MAIN STREET SAFETY PROJECT
Senior Planner Molly Markarian presented the Main Street Safety Project through a PowerPoint Presentation.

Project Area: 20th - 72nd
Project Timeline: Project Kick-Off Summer 2018 to Adoption 2020/2021
