HomeMy WebLinkAbout4.10.23 SEDA Regular Session MinutesSEDA Board Meeting Minutes, 4/10/23, Page 1 of 2 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE SPRINGFIELD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY HELD MONDAYAPRIL 10, 2023 The Springfield Economic Development Agency (SEDA) met in person and via Zoom on Monday, April 10th at 6:47 p.m., Board Chair Pishioneri presiding. CALL TO ORDER Chair Pishioneri called the meeting to order at 6:47 p.m. with roll call. A quorum was present. ATTENDANCE Present were Board Members Sean VanGordon, Joe Pishioneri, Kori Rodley, Steve Moe, Michelle Webber, and Victoria Doyle. Absent: David Loveall STAFF PRESENT City Recorder AJ Nytes, Assistant City Manager Niel Laudati, Neil Obringer, Kristina Kraaz, and Staff Liaison Allie Camp. COMMUNICATIONS 1. Business from the Audience - None 2. Correspondence - None 3. Business from the Staff - None PUBLIC HEARINGS None NEW BUSINESS 1. Budget Committee Appointment Mr. Neil Obringer presented this item to the board. MOTION: Vice Chair Rodley moved to appoint Colby Phillips as the SEDA Downtown Representative on the SEDA Budget Committee, seconded by Board Member Webber with a vote of 6 for 0 against and 1 absent. 2. Glenwood Relocation Services Update Ms. Allie Camp presented this item to the board. No formal action was taken. OLD BUSINESS 1. Lease Review – Memorial Building Ms. Allie Camp presented this item to the board. MOTION: Vice Chair Rodley moved to direct the City Manager to lease the property at 735 and 765 A street (commonly known as the Memorial building) to Blue McKenzie Apartments LLC for use as temporary office space and construction staging during construction of the Blue McKenzie site, for nominal rent. The motion was seconded by Board Member Webber with a vote of 6 for 0 against and 1 absent.
