Hi Zach, we do have a placeholder for annexation requests at the first City Council meeting of each month. Because
annexations technically cause a change to the property zoning by removing the Urbanizable Fringe Overlay staff also
provides 35-day advance notification to DLCD. Normally the annexation would be scheduled for the next available
public hearing date following the 35-day DLCD notice. lf the annexation is submitted by Christmas we could potentially
make the February 6 meeting.

I have a quick follow-up question for you on scheduling. What public hearing dates are you considering for the
annexation? You noted that the Annexation will require 2 Council meetings for public hearing and action. Do you expect
those can be held in February 6th and 20th?
