RESOLUTIONAUTHORIZING THE CITY SURVEYOR TO ACCEPT TWO BARGAIN AND
SALE DEEDS FOR STORMWATER RETENTION, STORAGE AND DRAINAGE FOR
MARCOLA MEADOWS SUBDIVISION, PHASE 5.
WHEREAS, Marcola Meadows Neighborhood, LLC has submitted a final subdivision plat for
Marcola MeadowsPhase 5 and is required to provide stormwater treatment under the Marcola
-011844,
Lane County Deeds and Records;
WHEREAS,the stormwater treatment facilities will be constructed by the developer and will
contain stormwater retention, storage and drainage;
WHEREAS,there are five tracts of land identified on the tentative plat that contain or will
contain stormwater treatment facilities, which will be conveyed to the City for future;
maintenance;
WHEREAS,the tracts of land will be recorded at the time of recording the Final subdivision plat
for Marcola Meadows, Phase 5;
WHEREAS,ORS 93.808 requires the City to approve and accept instruments conveying title to
the City;
WHEREAS,the City Surveyor has customarily accepted conveyances to the City for storm and
sanitary right of way;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BYTHECOMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SPRINGFIELD:
Section 1: The Common Council of the City of Springfield does herebydelegate the
City Surveyor to approve, acceptand recordtwo deeds conveyingfeetitle to the City of
Springfield for the Marcola Meadows Phase 5 subdivision.
Section 2: This Resolution willtake effect upon adoption by the Council and
approval by the Mayor.
