Q.1 Parking and Access?
a. Can the shared access drive be used as back-up space?. To be answer by public works and transportation planning.
b. Parking Space Requirements?. Table 4.6-2 sets the minimum parking standards for specific uses. Retail
trade requires 1 space for every 300 sq. ft. Warehousing requires 1 per 1,000
sq. ft. Your calculations are correct.
c. Bicycle Parking?. 4 spaces are required, 3 short-term and one long-term space that meets the
Facility Design requirements listed in 4.6-145.
Q.2 ls the warehouse use permitted as an ancillary use?
a. lndoor storage, other than mini-warehouses, is permitted subject to special
standards found in Section 4.7-235 of the Springfield Development Code. ln addition,
manufacture or assembly of goods or products to be sold on premises is also
permitted subject to Section 4.7-175; manufacturing cannot exceed more that 49o/o of
the gross floor area.
Q.3 What are the stormwater requirements?
a. To be answered by Public Works.
Q.4 Are there any other issues you may have seen in your review that we did not
address?
a. Site Plan Review is required per Section 5.17-100 which outlines submittal
requirements for review
