Listed below are our comments for the above referenced proposal:
1. Rainbow Water District (Rainbow) is the current water service provider for this parcel, and
contracts with Springfield Fire to provide fire protection and emergency services.
2. Rainbow recognizes that applicant has requested annexation into the City of Springfield to
enable connection to city sewer due to a failing septic system.
3. ln accordance with ORS 222.465, for an annexation ordinance enacted between April t, 2022
and April L,2023, Rainbow will continue to serve the customer and will transfer our customer to
the Springfield Utility Board (SUB)effective July t,2023.
