MINUTES OF THE WORK SESSION MEETING OF
THE SPRINGFIELD PLANNING COMMISSION HELD
TUESDAY, November 5, 2019
The City of Springfield Planning Commission met in a work session in the Jesse Maine Meeting
Room, 225 Fifth Street, Springfield, Oregon, on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., with
Commissioner Koivula presiding.
ATTENDANCE
Present were Chair Koivula, Vice Chair Sherwood (by cell phone), Commissioners Bergen, Vohs,
Landen, Gill and McGinley. Also present were: Comprehensive Planning Manager Sandy Belson,
Assistant City Attorney Kristina Kraaz and Management Specialist Brenda Jones.
ABSENT
None
WORK SESSION-
1. Main Street Safety Project
June 2019 during a Work Session, the project team developed and analyzed an initial set of
possible alternative safety solutions for Main Street. The purpose of this work Session is to:
discuss initial Alternative Solutions
he results of Preliminary Solutions
the results of Preliminary Analysis and Screening
Molly is seeking Planning Commission feedback to help in the creation of three Refined
Solutions.
