REQUESTED:
Planning Commission to elect Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and make committee
assignments
ISSUE
STATEMENT:
Per Municipal Code section 2.410: At the beginning of each calendar year, the
planning commission shall elect a chairperson and vice-chairperson who shall hold
office for one year.
The Springfield Charter and Council operating policies indicate that committee
assignments also be made at this time.

2020 Chair, Vice-Chair and Committee Assignments:
Planning Commission Chairperson: Troy Sherwood
Planning Commission Vice-Chairperson: Kuri Gill
Council Liaison: Sophie McGinley
Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee Liaison: Andrew Landen
Community Development Advisory Committee Liaison: Tim Vohs
Governance Committee for Development Code Update Project: Grace Bergen and
Sophie McGinley
Note: Representation on the Governance Committee is by annual appointment.
