SPRINGFIELD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
HELD MONDAY JANUARY 23, 2023
The Springfield Economic Development Agency (SEDA) met in person and via Zoom on Monday,
January 23rd at 7:00 p.m., Board Member Sean VanGordon presiding.
CALL TO ORDER
Board Member VanGordon called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm with roll call. A quorum was present.
ATTENDANCE
Present were Board Members Sean VanGordon, Joe Pishioneri, Michelle Webber, Steve Moe, Kori
Rodley, Victoria Doyle, David Loveall and Leonard Stoehr.
STAFF PRESENT
City Recorder AJ Nytes, Assistant City Manager Niel Laudati and Staff Liaison Allie Camp.
1. Glenwood Riverfront Project Overview
Allie Camp presented along with Jill Sherman of Edlen and Company and Mark Miksis of deChase
Miksis a project overview and explained the Master Plan Process.
Board Member Stoehr asked if any additional properties outside of the defined Master Plan Area would
be acquired. Ms. Sherman said no, not at this point.
Board Member VanGordon noted that although the Refinement Plan is the starting point, it is not set in
stone. Ms. Sherman agreed that the Master Plan was flexible.
Board Member VanGordon noted that existing codes, laws and ordinances did not need to be duplicated.
He asked if property owned by private parties would develop on their own timelines, to which Ms.
Sherman replied in the affirmative.
No action was requested.
ADJOURNMENT
Meeting was adjourned by Board Member VanGordon at 7:26 p.m.
