Every permit issued by the Building Official underithe provisions qf. Ihe Code shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building grwork
authorized by such permit is not commenced witlrin 120 days trom ttti date of such permii, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or
abandoned for a peiiod of 120 days at any time after the work id commenced. Before such work can be recommenced a new permit shall be f irst obtained to do
so. and the fee therefor shall be one-half the amount required for a new permit for such work, pnrvided no changes have been made or will be made in the original
plans and specifications for such work; and provided, further, that such suspension or abandonment has not exceeded one year.

S.B.C. SEC. 304(d) REOUIRED INSPECTIONS (CALLED INSPECTIONS)
The Building Official. upon notification from the permit holder or his agerit. shall make the following inspections (allow 1 to 3 working days), and shall either
approve thaiportion of ihe construction as compleied or notify the permit holder or his agent wherein the same fails to comply with this Code.
(1) FOUNDATION tNSpECTION: To be madeafter trenches€re excavated, for.msereited. and steel reinforcement is in place (if required) AND BEFORE ANY
CONCRETE IS POURED.
(2) FRAME INSPECTION: To be made after the roof, all framing, fire blocking and braces are in place and all rough plumbing, rough electricaland fireplace,- chirn"ysandventsarecomplete. No woRK sHAaL BE COVERED UNTIL THIS INSPECT.ION HAS BEEN MADE AND AP-
PROVED. There will be no ipproval for cover until the plumbing and electrical inspections have beerl made and approved.
(a) LATII AND/OR WALLBOARD (SHEETROCK) INSPECTION: To be made after all lathing and/or wallboard, interior and exterior, isin place; but before
any plaster is applied or the wallboard joints and fasteners are taped and f inished.
(4) FINAL INSPECTION: To be made after the building is complete AND BEFORE OCCUPANCY.
OTHER INSPECTIONS: ln addition to the callel inspctions spegified above. the Quilding Official mpy make or require any other inspections of any construc-
tion work to ascertain compliance with the provisions oi tfris Code dnd otherlaws which are.enforced by the Division of Construction Permits and lnspections.
BLOCK WALL INSPECTION: To be made after reinforcing is in place, but before any grout is poured. This inspection is required for each bond beam pour.

As per OAR 340-71-045 (I), a llcense ls requlred in order to per-
