Dear Lucinda,
At your request, the Building Division of the City of Springfield, nade
a Hlusing inspection at the addresses listed below. This inspection foI-
lowed your Oepartments inspection of the sane buildings. Items listed
after Lach address must be added to your requirements for corrective ac-
tion.
2445 "E" Street - No additional requirements.
(1) Every sleeping room must have one window with an
openable area of at least 4 square feet with no
dimension less than 22 inches.
1733 "I" Street -

(2) An approved trap must be installed on the washing
nachine drain 1ine.
The rafters are over span. There are two (2) com-
position roofs over one (1) cedar shingled roof,
ihus excessive roof loads exist. The present 2'r
x 4r' rafters are spanning 10 feet. The maximum
span for a high slope roof of a Ztt x 4r' rafters
ia 6'10 1/8". Bracing nust be installed to re-
duce the span to this dinension.
Attic ventilation must be installed to provide a
ninimum of one (1) square foot of net free venti-
lation for every 150 square feet of attic area.
After walls have been insulated, fire blocking must
be installed in the wal1s at the ceiling line to
prevent the wall cavity from opening into the attic
area.

work must be acconplished in accordance with applicable Codes and inspec-
ted.
