David Willis as a Representative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
David Willis as a representative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the
communication committee for the Groundbreaking of the Willamette Valley Temple would like to thank
the City of Springfield for their work and help in moving this project forward.
While we were not able to invite everyone to do the groundbreaking because of limited space and
invitations to individuals throughout the Southern Willamette Valley we especially want to thank
Councilman Steve Moe who represented the Mayor and the City Council.
We also want to acknowledge Kristina Kraaz and her work, has her name came up as very helpful to our
real estate group. When the Willamette Valley Temple is completed, we will have a number of Open
Houses and everyone of any age will be invited to visit the grounds and tour the building.
We know that the building and the grounds will do honor to Springfield, my hope is that some people will
use the motels and food services in the area. Most importantly we hope that those members who
participate in the sacred covenants will be better people and better citizens of their communities.
