Gateway & Randy Pape Beltline in Springfield, OR
05/17/2022
Brief Project Description:
Chick-fil-A is proposing a new commercial fast-food drive-thru restaurant with dual
ordering/queuing lanes. This project includes parking, outdoor seating, indoor seating and
drive-thru canopies. This project also includes additional developments within the same center,
where Chick-fil-A currently proposes to grade two additional lots for future tenants and provide
stormwater, dry and wet utility resources. See the site plan for further details.
Additional buildings not proposed to be constructed by CFA—Grading, utility and site work
only.
List of Questions:
1. What are the requirements related to stormwater for the site? Can infiltration used if
mechanical treatment is provided in lieu of LIDA planters? Would the city entertain ajoint
facility on the "Flame Site"?
2. Outside of the median project being completed by the city, can you discuss any other
possible required street improvements that may be required by the project?
3. Please identify the required land use process and estimated timelines for review of that
process.
4. Are there any majorflaws or site plan layout concerns based on the preliminary site plan
proposed with this request?
