As we have discussed in the past I have combined the three lots into one application for the tree
cutting permit.
Prior to construction of the joint access for the lots it is best to remove the trees in the driveway
area as well as the area for homes to be built. This allows for the least impact on a newly
constructed driveway.

1. This application addresses practical as well as long -and short-term safety considerations as they
relate to trees located on the lots. The shared easement access driveway needs to have all trees
removed so as to facilitate its construction at one time along its entire length, rather than to have the
project undertaken in portions as individual homes are built. You will find confirmation of this approach
in the LDAP for construction of the easement access driveway. All tree -removal services will be
performed by professionals licensed for that purpose. The trees and spoils therefrom so removed will be
transported by truck via Forest Ridge Drive to appropriate off-site locations. The amplified drawing
information you requested has been or is presently being supplied to you. Those drawings and
associated narratives include for all three lots the building footprints, floorplans, driveways, patios, trees
to be removed, the identification and location of trees within 35 feet of all three homes, plus all trees,
including those recognized and identified as dangerous whether before, during or after construction of
the three homes. I want to thank you again for your very practical suggestion that the easement access
driveway tree -felling permit be processed in tandem with the three lots.

4. The MountainGate Lot Owners Association requires full landscaping plans to be submitted for its
approval as part of the home -construction process for each individual lot. There is a Landscaping
Committee dedicated to that particular purpose, the net effect of which meets and largely exceeds the
applicable Criterion E.
