Springfield, OR 97477 Subject: Courtesy fnspection at 407 N. 19th Street Springfield, Oregon. Tax Lot #1703 36 13 11500 At the request of your tenant, the Springfield Building Safety Division recently conducted an inspection of your property at the above address. The inspection revealed items which do not meet the minimum City Housing Code requirements and must be comected. They consist of the following: Structural 1. Portions of the building appear to be inadequately supported as evidenced by excessive sag or settlement' 2. Dryrot is evident in structural members of the building. The structure shall be examined for damage and appropriate repairs completed. This conditon was observed at walls surruonding the bathtub and in the floor at the kitchen sink. 3. Smoke detectors shall be installed and properly maintained in all residences which are rented or leased. They shall be located in areas leading to rooms used for sleeping purposes. Plumbing 4. The cold water supply at the kitchen sink is leaking. This condition has occurred since the hot water supply was repaired. 5. Plumbing fixtures were observed to have inadequate drainage through complete or partial blockage of the building drains.
