0n November 17 , 1986 , at the request of the C.ity F.i reDepartment, a courtesy Inspection was performeo at thesubj ect property. Thi s i nspecti on revea.l ect thefol'lowing vio1ations of the City Housing Code:
Apartment #3 : Tl,. bathroom cei f i ng i s vrater-damagedfrom a water leak above. Electrii cable ceiling h6atwiring is exposed and presents a potential electricarshock hazard.
Apartment #6: P1 umbi ng ieafs are apparent behi nd thetoi 'let and bathtub.
Apartment #7: The bathtub faucet is not functioning anct'l eaks bactly.
Aoartment #10: The bathroom ceiling is water-damaged.The bathroom floor is water-damaged ind deterioratecl.
Apartment #11 : The bathroom cei 'l i ng i s leaki ng; v{ater i sleaking through the exhaust fan causing;',potentialelectrical shock hazard. Hall and ceiling-coverings inthe bathroom ane mildewed and decayecl.

Apartment #15: Leakage is apparent at the base of thebathroom toilet. The floor an<t floor covering iscleteriorated betb,een the toilet an<l the tub.
Apartment #16: The bathroom floor is deter.iorated.
Water leaks are evident below the bathtub shower head.
Other apartments in the comDlex brere not inspected dueto the aDsence of the tenants, however, al1 apartmentsin the complex must comply with the C.ity Housing code.

Dear Mr. Schaub;
On December 11r 1986 I received your letter at my address of
7800 Shl SagerL *2gt Tualatin, Or. 97062. I do not appreciate
your insinuation that I have 30 days from the date of your
letter (November 2L,1986) to make all repairs that you have
mentioned in your letter. Several of these repairs have
atready been made and all of the other repairs are being
planned. I can not make repairs that I do not know about so I
thank you for telling me about them. We want our apartments
to be a nice place for people to live.
