RE: Public Employees Federal Credit Union, toilet room grab bars
Dear John:
I.le have received your letter dated February 4, 1987, ancl have reviewecl the request you
made regarding toilet room grab bars for the physically handicapped. I contacted Mi.Darrel Ackerman, a handicapped consultant, regarding his opinion of your proposal
meeting the intent of the code regarding handicapped accessibility, lnd he cbncurredthat the intent of the code will be satisfied by the installation of the grab bars
as you propose.
I will inform Don Moore, the City Structural Inspector, of this decision, and you maycontact him for a reinspection and approval of this situation when the proposed
modifications are completed.
