Bradford 1940 North 17th Street Springf ie1 d, 0regon 97477 Dear Ms. Bradford: The publjc sanitary Sewer lateral recently constructed alonq 17t Streets has been accepted by the C'ity Council and is now ava'ilab your property. In this regard, Chapter 2, Article 10 of the Springfield City Code requires that all property lvithin 120 feet of a public sewer lateral connect thereto. Therefore, please accept this'as yourinvitation and not'ice to connect to the publ'ic sewer. The connection should be completed by you, or by a private contractor hired"by you, on or before June 2, 1980. When you (or your contractor) are ready,to beg'in work, please remember that it will be necessary to obtain a plumbing permit from this office. Also, Chapter 2, Article 10 of the City Code requries that a $100.00 connect'ion fee be paid prior to connecting to the public sewer. For your convenjence, this fee may be paid at the time you obtain the plumbing permit. Please also be advjsed that an inspection is required after the sewer pipe is placed in the trench, but before the trench is filled. Ejther you or your contractor should place an inspection request with our inspection line (726-3769) when this stage of construction js reached.
