Trees are proposed to be removed under the tree permit application for this project. The following responses address Criteria for Permit Issuance in SDC 5.19-125. A. I4479therthe conMitrons ofthe trees with respect to disease, hazardous or unsafe conditions, danger of falling, proximity to existing structures or proposed construction, or interference with utility services or pedestrian or vehicular traffic safety warrants the proposed felling. In conjunction with the site plan modification, 18 trees are to be removed for the proposed new buildings, parking lot layout, and vehicular circulation for the drive-through. B. N/A C. Mather it is necessary to remove trees in order to construct proposed improvements as specified in an approved development plan, grading permits and construction drawings. These improvements result in an extensive site build -out that will necessitate the removal of most of the exiting trees The project proposes a new building footprint, (33) parking spaces, restaurant drive-through, and on-site storm -water treatment facilities.
