ISSUE The Community Development Advisory Committee will have four vacant positions STATEMENT: as of January 1, 2022 due to the resignation of one board member and the expiration of the first term of three other board members. Three positions will be starting a four-year term as of January 1, 2022. The fourth position has two years remaining on the current term. Three applications were received for four openings. ATTACHMENTS: None DISCUSSION/ Tinker Flom, Savannah Olsen, and Seth Thompson all submitted applications to be FINANCIAL on the Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC). They were IMPACT: interviewed by Council during the 11/15/2021 and 11/22/2021 work sessions. Council gave their approval for all three applicants to be appointed to the Committee. The CDAC provides recommendations to the City Council on the best use of the City's allotment of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds. These funds support housing programs, social services, affordable rental and home ownership housing development, neighborhood revitalization activities, parks and street construction and downtown redevelopment.
