Re: Occupancy Inspection at 1795 North Sth Street
Dear Mr. Hughes:
At your request, the Building Division of the City of Springifeld made an
occupancy inspection on July 16, 7979 at 1795 North sth Street, Springfield,
6regon. The change in the use of this building necessitated this inspection.
The present use of the building is a gasoline and service station, which is
claslified as a 8-L occupancy. The proposed use is a carpet retail store
which is a B-2 occupancy.
For the building to conform to the applicable codes, the following items must
be repaired, replaced or inltalled:
(1) The pressure relief valve on the \dater heater must be piped in a down-
ward position and to the outside of the building and terminate in a
downward position.
(2) A11 proposed electrical work must be accomplished by an electrical con-
tractor.
(3) Any remodeling work must be done in accordance with applicable codes.
A11 applicable permits must be obtained before work starts and all work must
be inipected belore a Certificate of Compliance will be issued.
